Welcome to the online home of the Parkway North High robotics team, the ROBOHOBOS. Here we will share information about the team and the activities in which we are involved.

The 2010 FIRST Robotics Competition season is over, at least for the Robohobos. This year’s game – Breakaway – is gave us an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and concepts and to show off what we’ve learned.

Unfortunately, our robot did not perform as we had hoped or expected. We worked hard to overcome some hardware and software issues while at the competition, but in the end we were not successful in making it to the finals rounds.

Even though the competition season is over for us, we are not finished. We weren’t able to do what we wanted at the competition, so we are going to dedicate the rest of the semester to understanding exactly what went wrong and getting the robot into full operations. We will also look at our process to see how we can improve for next year.
