Our Team

Like all FIRST teams, the Robohobos are made up of several different groups:

• Students – The students, of course, are the main part of the team. As a group, they are responsible for learning the rules, designing and building  the robot, and doing everything else that needs to be done.
• Faculty Sponsor – Without our faculty sponsor, the Robohobos could not exist.
• Engineering Mentors – Our engineering mentors provide the technical and management assistance the students sometimes need, and make sure that the students are staying on track with what needs to be done.
• Non-engineering mentors – Many of the team parents provide non-engineering assistance, especially during the regional competition, such as providing transportation and food to keep the students going.
• Alumni – Our alumni all go to school out of town so they can’t help us directly, but they show us what we can do after high school.
